Sustainability Performance Assessment is a dynamic way for any company to know the extent to which sustainability aspects are incorporated in its business strategies, policies, processes and performance. The Centre organises special open awareness programmes on Sustainability Performance Assessment & Awards for the benefit of businesses in India to :

• Enhance their understanding of Corporate Sustainability;
• Enable them to assess their Sustainability Performance;
• Become aware about the CII - ITC Sustainability Awards;
• Learn how the CII - ITC Sustainability Awards enhances brand value and public perceptions of organisations.

The Centre also organises half-day or full - day customised in - house awareness - cum - training sessions on the topic for Heads of the Departments / senior management persons of companies. Many companies have benefited from these in - house training programmes and have found it instrumental in improving their sustainability profile.

The Centre also encourages organisations to nominate persons to get trained as Sustainability Assessors.
