Being proficient in Energy Management with over 14 years industrial experience is key to contribute in the field of Climate Change mitigation. He led Tata Steel to be the highest rated steel company globally in CDP (CDLI = 100 in CDP 2015 Climate Disclosure program). He is an environmental engineer with 18+ years of experience in the field of environment management at industries (chemical, pharma, foundry & forge & automobile), promoting environment activities across suppliers, dealers, logistics operations etc. He has expertise in safety & health management, sustainability projects, sustainability reporting, afforestation, eco-CSR activities. He is an ISO 14001 lead auditor & certified sustainability assessor & sustainability assurance practitioner. He has undergone trainings pertaining to green building, green co-rating, EIA and GRI G4 reporting guidelines.

Suresh is an energy management professional having diversified experience in energy/environment management, renewable energy and sustainable manufacturing. Being a certified energy auditor he has the experience of conducting energy efficiency improvement studies and implemented energy saving measures. Worked closely with government for the development of normalization factor under PAT scheme. Currently involved in development & implementation of detailed plan for achieving ACC SD ambition through various energy conservation measures & creation of monitoring system for the same and energy roadmap development along with action plan for controlling overall energy cost to have competitive advantage.

Sushama Oza is Director, Strategy & Sustainability at Adani Foundation, Ahmedabad. She was also the CEO of Adani Foundation from May 2007 to October 2014 and has been heading the CSR for Adani conglomerate for more than eight years. She has represented the organization at many national and international fora. Ms. Oza has over 33 years of experience in the development field, out which 16 years have been as head of the organization in India and USA. She has strategized and spearheaded projects in sectors of primary health care, sustainable livelihood development, rural sports and rural infrastructure. In the span of her long career she has groomed a large number of development professionals as well as volunteers.
She has been associated with CII-ITC Sustainability Awards since 2014 and has undertaken seven desk assessments and three site visits so far. She was also a lead assessor in 2015.
Tapendu is a professional with certifications in energy auditing, business management, working at corporate office in senior management level. He is involved in consulting, system implementation, project management in sustainable initiatives in energy, environment & resource conservation, optimisation of power sources for optimal cost, power security RPO compliances, PAT compliance - energy auditing & management, operation & maintenance (mechanical & electrical) of cement plant, thermal captive power plant. He is also member of BEE syllabus review committee, certified lead auditor of ISO 14000, certified facilitator from DDI, certified job evaluator from HAY besides strategizing change management in an organization.

Upasana Choudhry is South Asia Manager – sustainability and product compliance at HP India with the primary responsibility of planning and implementation of the company’s product environmental strategies and delivering valuable leadership with a focus to establish a compelling business case.
She has a professional work experience of over 20 years spread across diverse sectors. She holds masters’ degrees in development studies and in social work and started her professional career with not-for-profit organisations working on diverse social and environmental issues including human rights, labour, and health among others.
She has been actively involved in global policy advocacy and represented her organsiation at the International Labour Conferences (ILC) of ILO’s worst form of child labour convention, Conference of Parties (COP) to the Stockholm convention on persistent organic pollutants, inter-governmental meetings on strategic approaches to Integrated Chemicals Management (SAICM), and Intergovernmental forum on chemicals safety.
She has field tested the Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) framework developed by WASTE Netherlands in 2010; as well as undertook research on radioactive waste in India in 2009 with support from Henrich Boel Foundation. She was awarded fellowship under 2008 Leadership Program of the UNEP-Eco Peace Leadership Center for carrying out photo documentation of electronic waste recycling in informal sector.

She joined HUL in 2003 and have handled responsibilities in the areas of Internal communications and media relations. She have done post-graduate diploma course in Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi after graduating in Sociology Hons from Jesus & Mary College, Delhi University, New Delhi.

Yogesh Chandra has worked in Indian Oil Corporation for 33 years as General Manager (HR). His portfolio comprised of strategy, LTP, negotiations, settlements, legal matters, compliances, policies, welfare, industrial relations, manpower planning, compensation, liaison, clearances, separation benefits, administration, security, safety, HRD activities and learning & development. He has worked for 2 years in automobile sector and 1 year in engineering sector as HR Head.
He has been associated with CII-ITC Sustainability Awards since 2014 and has completed 2 assessment cycles i.e. 2014 and 2015. About 6 companies have been assessed in steel, housing, cement, food and oil & gas. Completed 2 Six sigma projects as GB & 1 project as BB. He completed TPM audits of 6 cement plants as well due diligence for acquiring Dhar Cement. Rehabilitated more than 30 - 45 years old plant structures with scientific approach and extended the service life of plant. Through sustainable construction practices he contributed in savings of more than 250 Lacs as well the project achieved PMI award at India level and Master J Jacoby award at International level (Asia Region).
